About LSSSA

PLEASE NOTE: The Laguna Seca Shooting Sports Association (LSSSA) is a private sporting club, and does not own or operate a public shooting range. The club also does not provide formal classes or training. LSSSA is an entity separate from the Laguna Seca Recreation Area Rifle and Pistol Range (LSRARPR), which is a shooting facility open to the public, owned and operated by Monterey County Parks (MCP). LSSSA does not represent or speak for the LSRARPR or the MCP – any assumption expressed in media is incorrect. (8/31/15)

Who We Are

Established in 1981, the Laguna Seca Shooting Sports Association is a group of Monterey County sport shooters, whose goal is to encourage organized rifle and pistol shooting among the residents of the State of California and the tri-county area (Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz Counties), for citizens and legally registered aliens of the United States, with a view toward fostering safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship.

It is also our purpose to help develop the characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance, which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.

Monthly Meetings

LSSSA meets at 7:00pm on the second Wednesday of each month at Marina Village Restaurant, 215 Reservation Road, Marina, CA.

Range

Currently, LSSSA events are held (as guests) at a private range near Soledad, CA.
